J Street leads campaign to show support for Bob Simon’s excellent piece entitled “Time Running Out For A Two-State Solution?”on “60 Minutes”
January 29, 2009 7:17 pm Israeli-Palestinian conflict, SettlersThe J Street lobbying group that defines itself as “pro-Israel” and “pro-peace,” is leading a campaign to show support for “60 Minutes” correspondent Bob Simon. Simon has been criticized both for his incisive analysis of the role settlements play in preventing a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and for showing Israeli soldiers taking over a Palestinian home on the “60 Minutes” program broadcast on Jan. 25, 2009.
